Healthy Cookie Recipe

Yes, I admit, I am a huge health freak. But hey, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a huge sweet tooth as well! Luckily, I’ve managed to find a recipe that incorporates both into one delicious treat: the oat- banana- chocolate chip cookie. You’re probably thinking, ok ya I’ve heard about this recipe 100 times already on 100 other websites. But seriously, when I say it’s the best recipe ever, I’m not lying. Super easy, super healthy, and super sweet.

All you need is…

1 cup of oats

1 softened banana

1 handful of chocolate chips (to taste)

Mix all of these ingredients up in a mixing bowl, divide them into teaspoon size cookie balls, place them on a cookie sheet, and cook them in the oven for 10 minutes at 350℉. Voila! It’s so easy it almost doesn’t seem real.

What makes this recipe great is that there are so many ways to change it up according to what your taste buds are telling you at that very moment. If you want to spice it up a little, add some nuts or pieces of dried fruit. If they are too bland, incorporate coconut shavings or cinnamon for some extra taste. If the cookies just aren’t sweet enough for your liking, add a tablespoon of Agave or an alternative sweetener to the mix. Not healthy enough for you? Take out the chips, and there ya go, pure health!

Not to mention, these cookies keep so you can make a batch for the whole week, or save them for a delicious and homemade on- the- go snack!
