Spring Sunnies

An essential for every season, especially Spring/ Summer, is a decent pair of sunnies. Whether you only pull them out on the brightest of days, or they are practically molded to your face like Wintour; if you have one go-to pair, or like to switch it up and play around with different styles, it is no secret that they are a necessity. As for me? I would say I like to switch it up, allowing my shades to complement my outfit. Therefore, I’m always on the search for some quality, unique, and not-so-pricey sunglasses. Last spring/summer I was all about the Illesteva Leanord classics. And this year, as spring is quickly approaching, I’ve been on the look out for quality brands and styles that I’d like to get my hands (eyes) on. Here are a few designers and styles that I will be wearing once the sun starts shining a little brighter. (Click on picture to be directed to site!)

Winter Warmth

Hats. Earmuffs. Beanies.

Honestly, what would I do without these winter accessories when living in the arctic I like to call home (Madison)? I’m sure you’ve been told that the majority of your body heat gets lost from your head. Well yeah, whoever told you that wasn’t lying. Walking around feeling like your head is about to freeze off is not so fun. The better option? Investing in some cozy, warm, soft, fluffy accessories that will keep you bundled up and add to your winter look.

Here are some of the toastiest winter accessories to splurge on now

Smart and Stylish Backpacks

Like all other college students, I have to go through the torture of carrying around my heavy books and laptops basically everywhere I go. What makes this a lot less hard work is being able to do it in style. Back in my middle school days, everyone had those ugly, huge JanSport or NorthFace backpacks with a million pockets and buckles. It was the “cool” thing to have, but now I would say it’s not so “cool”. That’s because now there are a ton of trendy backpacks on the market that are just as functional as the indestructible, life-proof NorthFace ones. Many high-end designers make them, but if you’re not looking to spend all of last months pay check just quite yet, there are also really cute ones that are reasonably priced. And hey, who said backpacks were only a student’s necessity? Backpacks are a great accessory or statement piece for any occasion, for any age! In fact, many call the comeback of this accessory the “Grown-Up Backpack”!
